Christmas time means tie-dye time – and what better accessory than tie-dyed Christmas socks?

These have made a great addition to my Christmas scrub top and holly headband, but I think that will do for the over-the-top Christmas outfit. I suppose a nurse needs to keep a tiny bit of professionalism, right!?

Watch below to see 3 ways to tie-dye your own Christmas socks!

My personal favourites are the mismatched socks – I love a legitimate excuse to wear odd socks.

The striped socks (both types) have also received their fair share of compliments.

I used Procion dyes from Dharma Trading Co in Chinese Red and Emerald Green, but if you want something a little simpler Tulip tie-dye kits are a great option.

Thanks for watching! We’d love to hear if you decide to try it and DIY your own tie-dyed Christmas socks. Tag @dyediyhq on Instagram or Facebook and we’ll check it out.

Fabulous socks! Can I ask where you get the long white ones for this project? Thanks!

Thanks PJ! I’m in Australia and I just got these from Kmart – they’re quite thin but they dye really well and last a surprisingly long time.
