Tie-dye jeans time!
I found white jeans on clearance, but we are WAY too active for white anything – and there’s no way I’m soaking and bleaching jeans after every wear. Especially not ones the kids have covered in grass stains and mud and all the other everyday mess.
But luckily, we have the solution – make them colourful! Tie-dye hides all the marks.
Watch us tie-dye these white jeans with the low-water immersion method.
These turned out beautifully. I used a mix of a pale sage green, turquoise, and indigo.
Unfortunately these are a size too small for me, so Gabrielle has nabbed them. I think you’ll be seeing a new video of me tie-dyeing jeans for myself soon – I definitely need a pair!
We use Procion dyes, but if you want something a little simpler Tulip tie-dye kits are a great option.
Thanks for watching! We’d love to hear if you decide to try it and DIY your own tie dyes. Tag @dyediyhq on Instagram or Facebook and we’ll check it out.
