After his previous tie-dye session Forrest was keen to do some more dyeing and make us another video.

He enjoys twisting tie-dye spiral patterns so he dyed me a yellow, orange, and pink tie-dye spiral on a white Sea Shepherd shirt.

I love the way it turned out, and the colours are fantastically bright – watch him tie-dye it below.

I wore it out yesterday and everyone complimented ME on my fantastic dye job….so I got to say actually, Forrest dyed this, and isn’t he rather clever at 12?

Shameless mum bragging is acceptable occasionally, as long as it doesn’t overtake the typically Australian deprecating humour.

I hope you appreciate the photos. After a week of cold, wet, and windy weather I got tired of waiting for a non-existent sunny day and went outside to freeze in my new pink tie-dye spiral shirt.

We use Procion dyes, but if you want something a little simpler Tulip tie-dye kits are a great option.

Thanks for watching! We’d love to hear if you decide to try it and DIY your own tie-dye spiral. Tag @dyediyhq on Instagram or Facebook and we’ll check it out.
