MORE Tie-Dye Socks – vibrant purple and green ice-dye

When she saw our first tie-dye socks video, a friend requested some of her own.

Specifically, purple and green tie-dyed socks.

Purple and green don’t work well together in traditional tie-dye. The colours don’t mix well, and look muddy and dirty.

But they look pretty good together when ice-dyeing – check out the video below to watch us dye them!

As you can see, the socks ended up with multiple shades of purple and green, and they blend beautifully.

These are going to look extremely funky poking out of the tops of Jane’s boots!

We use Procion dyes, but if you want something a little simpler Tulip tie-dye kits are a great option.
